Investigation of common mode voltages of single stage boost inverter for five phase induction motor drive

چکیده

In this manuscript, the single stage boost inverter is proposed to eliminate common-mode voltage (CMV) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) in motor drives. The topology has capability of eliminating effects intrinsic CMV without any additional filters, active or passive elements, modified pulse width modulated (PWM) techniques. This with rearrangement filter components from ac side mid place such a way that capacitor constantly clamped DC bus, inductor placed at mid-point half-bridge module supply achieve high gain. arrangement also effect switching natured voltage, which generally occurs conventional PWM inverter. Conventional techniques can be implemented modification control strategy. simulated MATLAB Simulink verify operation CM reduction capabilities results experimental prototype. compared traditional inverters modulation schemes terms elimination explain its effectiveness.
